I am a husband, father, and executive pastor of a small town church that went big. I have a passion for helping small town churches and pastors. So most of what I write about focuses on helping churches and ministry leaders take steps to grow themselves and the churches they serve.

For the past 7 years I have served at a small town church in Westmoreland, Tennessee. As of 2010, the population of Westmoreland was a whopping 2,206 people. In 2014, our average church attendance was 704 people. That equates to roughly 32% of our small town. To put that into perspective, it would be like a church in Nashville, TN about 50 miles south of us averaging 200,000 people each week. It is possible to go big in a small town.

I have been married to my wife Samantha for 11 years this December. Together we have two beautiful girls Layla and Presley.

For fun I enjoy traveling, reading, and watching sports. The Tennessee Vols in particular.
